Also, one Furoshiki can be used for a variety of purposes, as there are many wrapping and knotting techniques. A folded Furoshiki can also be kept in a one's bag when it is not needed. This time, we will introduce a knotting technique for using Furoshiki as an "eco-bag." |

| The most versatile, useful Furoshiki sizes are from 70 to 105 cm in width.For shopping bags, the larger ones of 90 cm or 105 cm are recommended as they can easily accommodate goods of various sizes. |

Place the box on the Japanese paper,
leaving a larger portion of
the top section clear.

Wrap the right and left sides over
the box, and tape it temporarily.

Fold both sides of the bottom
portion flush with the box,
first the lower, then the upper side.
